Global Account Manager Commercial Equipment OEMs

Sensata Technologies is hiring a Global Account Manager in Europe to drive strategic growth with some of the world’s most recognized Commercial Equipment OEMs. This role sits at the heart of one of Sensata’s fastest‑growing businesses and focuses on delivering mission‑critical, sensor‑rich solutions that support a safer, cleaner, more efficient, and increasingly electrified world. In this position, you will own global growth with TRATON SE, a major German commercial vehicle manufacturer and subsidiary of Volkswagen AG. TRATON brings together iconic brands such as Scania, MAN, International, and Volkswagen Truck & Bus, offering a unique opportunity to operate at true global scale. General Responsibilities • Leads the direct sales process and achieving sales targets • Responsible for visits to current and potential clients • Leads the performing of routine account management activities • Submits short and long-range sales plans and prepares sales strategies utilizing available marketing programs to reach nominated targets • Ensures that clients receive high quality customer service Experience / Qualifications • A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience • Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands • Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity • Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers The Commercial Equipment industry is undergoing significant transformation, driven by electrification, automation, and sustainability megatrends.
