GIS Solutions Architect

Job Description:
• Support the design, modernization, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise geospatial capabilities within a federal environment.
• Serve as the technical lead for geospatial architecture initiatives.
• Support enterprise GIS strategy, system integration, cloud modernization efforts, and geospatial governance activities.
• Design and implement enterprise geospatial solutions that support mission-critical operations, data-driven decision making, and enterprise-wide access to geospatial information.
• Collaborate with technical, operational, and business stakeholders to develop innovative GIS capabilities aligned with cloud, cybersecurity, data management, and enterprise architecture objectives.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of specialized experience supporting enterprise GIS, geospatial architecture, or geospatial solution design.
• Experience designing and implementing ArcGIS Enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise geospatial governance, data management, and system integration initiatives.
• Experience architecting geospatial solutions within cloud or hybrid environments.
• Experience supporting geospatial web services, dashboards, and enterprise GIS applications.
• Knowledge of GIS data models, geospatial databases, and enterprise geospatial workflows.
• Experience supporting cybersecurity, access control, and compliance requirements within enterprise systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and support multiple priorities simultaneously.
