GIS SME- Remote but need NY/NJ locals
• At least 12 years of experience as Specialist GIS SME. Ability to perform spatial analysis, geostatistics, network analysis, and other spatial data manipulations. Extensive experience with GIS software such as ArcGIS (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro), QGIS, MapInfo, or similar. Ability to perform and interpret complex spatial analyses, including spatial statistics, network analysis, and terrain analysis Experience managing GIS projects, including planning, execution, and delivery . Experience in data collection, integration, cleaning, and maintenance of spatial datasets. Experience in developing custom GIS applications and tools to meet specific user requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex spatial problems. Strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and integrity. DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Professional certifications such as Esri Technical Certification, GISP (GIS Professional), or other relevant certifications are often preferred.
