Your Impact: Join Pearce as a Generator Technician, where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing commercial generators on cell phone towers within your region. This position is ideal for independent, self-motivated individuals seeking growth in the fast-paced Telecom industry. Travel and on-call duties are part of this engaging role. Responsibilities: Maintain and repair generators, diagnose issues, and replace components as needed. Conduct regular performance checks and follow blueprints for installations or repairs. Install fuel and water supply lines, electrical wiring, and other components, ensuring proper operation. Respond promptly to generator alarms and be available for 24/7 on-call duties. Work safely by using equipment and practices to avoid hazards and attend safety meetings. Qualifications: Minimum of one year of experience with generator and electrical maintenance; two years preferred. Knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repairs, including electronic, mechanical, and electrical components. Basic understanding of FCC, FAA, EPA, and OSHA regulations. Physical ability to lift over 50 pounds and perform tasks such as stooping, bending, and climbing. Willingness to drive long distances, work flexible hours, and be on call as needed.
