About the position The Generative AI Agents Developer position at Lockheed Martin is an early career role focused on leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning to develop innovative solutions for complex problems in various domains, including military operations and emergency response. The role involves engaging in all phases of the system development lifecycle, from requirements generation to deployment, and requires a strong foundation in software engineering and AI technologies. Responsibilities • Develop technologies and products that leverage Artificial Intelligence for customer capabilities. • Engage in all phases of the system development lifecycle including requirements generation, system and software design, implementation, integration, and flight test. • Participate in low TRL research, proof of concepts, and development of prototypes. • Build demonstrators and transition solutions to production. • Apply current AI paradigms including computer vision, deep learning, and reinforcement learning to solve complex problems. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited college or equivalent experience. • 2 years of professional experience or no experience with a related Master's degree. • Experience with natural language processing and generative AI models. • Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as Pytorch or Tensorflow. • Experience with programming languages including Python, Java, C++, and Go. • Experience working with Agile methodologies. Nice-to-haves • Experience with large language models. • Familiarity with multiple libraries such as NumPy, OpenCV, Scikit, or Pandas. • Experience with DevOps tools like Docker, Git, and CI/CD processes. • Experience writing Dockerfiles and Kubernetes deployment scripts. • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS GovCloud or Microsoft Azure.
