Generational Wealth Grant Administrator

ESL Federal Credit Union is seeking a Generational Wealth Grant Administrator to serve as the primary point of contact for the execution of their First Time Homebuyer grant. The role involves managing grant programs, tracking customer eligibility, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the programs function effectively. Responsibilities Lead daily activities to ensure that Generational Wealth homebuyer grant programs are operating as intended Administer program requirements for Generational Wealth grants Track and report grant and customer eligibility and readiness Manage enrollments, issuing commitment letters, and closings Perform pre-and-post closing needs Write and update procedures needed to support grant programs Track information and metrics as determined by program (referrals, performance, grant rounds, limits) Serve as administrative contact for Generational Wealth grant customers Submit compliant packages to the FHLB to solidify program participation Champion operational efficiencies internally and with partners Streamline relevant processes in addition to driving frictionless business flows Work to deliver superior service and a delightful experience to all external and internal customers Work with the Generational Wealth Team and partners to uncover tactics to grow share of first time homebuyer market for our target audience Build powerful and compelling relationships with partners and centers of influence Establish trust, confidence and partnerships with internal colleagues Skills Associate degree or two years of equivalent experience in residential mortgage, real estate, homeownership programs, or financial services In addition, a minimum of one year of experience in civic engagement, financial services, real estate, urban planning, or related field Basic understanding of residential mortgage lending and affordable housing Experience working with racially and culturally diverse populations Ability to work well individually and as a member of a successful team Strong communication skills Bachelor's degree preferred in business, real estate, urban planning, economics, management or statistics/math Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage lending with focus on first-time home buyer and/or home ownership counseling and homebuyer education Customer Service experience Familiarity with Greater Rochester neighborhoods and communities preferred Benefits Wellness program Family assistance plan 401k with match Paid volunteer time Learning & Development training Company Overview With 100 years of locally owned history, ESL Federal Credit Union serves as a full-service financial institution to more than 465,000 members and more than 18,700 businesses.
