As a member of the General Warehouse Labor team, you will lead a team of warehouse associates to achieve operational objectives in a high-speed, continuous environment that operates every hour of every day, 365 days a year. This role plays a critical part in supporting Dollar Tree's commitment to distributing products efficiently across its expansive network. Role and Responsibilities: In the position of General Warehouse Labor, you will be tasked with guiding and supervising a workforce of up to 20 warehouse staff members to promote secure and effective operations in different sections. Your duties will include orchestrating daily tasks to reach production objectives and sustain operational criteria. • Manage the receiving process by arranging, unloading, and examining goods at the distribution center. • Ensure precise order fulfillment by replenishing, selecting, and accurately labeling products. • Manage the shipping procedures by overseeing the effective scanning, loading, and shipping of merchandise. • Ensure the machinery, like forklifts and pallet jacks, is operated safely and correctly. • Facilitate a team-focused environment within the warehouse by guiding and developing associates through mentorship initiatives. • Ensure solid communication and organizational practices are in place to accomplish shift objectives. • Maintain flexibility in your schedule to accommodate various assigned shifts for ongoing operations. Required Skills and Experience: • Skilled in supervising warehouse functions in a high-capacity, automated distribution facility for more than three years. • Proficiency in Spanish is highly valued for this position. • Demonstrated leadership capabilities that include mentoring and enhancing the skills of team members. • Deep understanding of technical, apparatus, and operational mechanisms. • Willing to adapt to any assigned work schedule. • Strong aptitude for organization and clear communication.
