We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team in a dynamic warehouse environment. Duties
ā¢ Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring safe handling practices.
ā¢ Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, and RF scanners to facilitate the movement of goods.
ā¢ Perform materials handling tasks to organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse.
ā¢ Assist in building pallets and preparing shipments for distribution.
ā¢ Conduct regular inspections of heavy equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
ā¢ Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.
ā¢ Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Requirements
ā¢ Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
ā¢ Proficiency in operating forklifts and heavy equipment is highly desirable.
ā¢ Familiarity with materials handling techniques and safety protocols.
ā¢ Experience with AS400 systems for inventory management is a plus.
ā¢ Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
ā¢ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
ā¢ Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
ā¢ Willingness to work in varying conditions, including exposure to outdoor elements.
