Responsibilities
ā¢ Assist in the loading and unloading of materials
ā¢ Assist experienced operators as assigned
ā¢ Inspect work pieces for conformance to specifications
ā¢ Responsible for cleaning and lubricating machines
ā¢ Maintain general housekeeping around work areas
ā¢ Maintain a good attitude and be willing to learn
Skills and Specifications
ā¢ Ability to do basic math ā add, subtract, multiply, divide
ā¢ Ability to read measurements on a ruler or other measuring devices
ā¢ Ability to read work orders or follow oral instructions
Physical Demands
ā¢ Standing for long periods
ā¢ Frequent moving of materials ranging from 5 to 50 pounds
ā¢ Occasional pushing and pulling of materials
ā¢ Must be able to comfortably wear all Personal Protective Equipment ā safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, etc.
Education and Qualifications
ā¢ High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
