General Labor / General Warehouse
General Laborer must possess a thorough knowledge of processes and procedures associated with supply, storage, and distribution functions within a fast-paced environment. The candidate will be responsible for various functions associated with shipping, receiving, and the packaging of inbound/outbound shipments along with various housekeeping duties.
Requirements:
ā¢ Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
ā¢ Mathematical skills: ability to perform all basic calculations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
ā¢ Physical demands: Must be able to lift 55 ā 100 lbs.
ā¢ Warehouse environment: in and outdoor with possible extreme weather conditions.
ā¢ Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment.
ā¢ Perform various tasks in assistance or in support of the organization including but not limited to general labor.
ā¢ Be willing to work other than normal scheduled hours, which may include evenings, weekends and/or holidays according to the needs of the business.
ā¢ Punctuality is a must; be on time and ready to work at the start shift.
ā¢ Perform various tasks on box lines, FFS-lines, and manual lines.
ā¢ Move and set up machinery as directed by Lead or Supervisor.
ā¢ Manual labor including sorting, measuring, scanning, registering, picking, and other various tasks.
ā¢ Be able to follow all Visual Operating Procedures required for your assigned task.
Must be able to work some weekends and be flexible with schedule.
