General Accounting Expert
Type:
Contract
Compensation:
$50ā$70/hour
Location:
Remote
Role Responsibilities
ā¢ Develop long-horizon accounting tasks that mirror real-world scenarios with deterministic rubrics.
ā¢ Create transactional accounting scenarios such as journal entries and AP/AR with defined cash application rules.
ā¢ Design close processes including reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany eliminations.
ā¢ Construct supporting analyses with flux explanations against ground-truth variances.
ā¢ Work independently and asynchronously to ensure tasks have checkable answers and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Must-Have
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
ā¢ 3+ years as a staff or senior accountant.
ā¢ Expertise in reconciliations, accruals, intercompany, fixed assets, AP/AR on major ERPs like NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, Intacct.
ā¢ Ability to read and produce accounting artifacts like JE packages, reconciliations, and trial balances.
ā¢ Clear written communication skills for encoding reasoning into deterministic rubrics.
Preferred
ā¢ CPA or CPA candidate.
