GEG Coordinator – Video Games Research Operations
Interpret is a global media, entertainment, and technology insights agency seeking a GEG Coordinator to manage participant recruitment for video game research projects. The role involves identifying qualified candidates, conducting screenings, coordinating logistics, and ensuring the right participants are available for research.ResponsibilitiesRecruit qualified participants for Interpret’s qualitative research, using our industry-leading Good Gamer Group panelUnderstand and execute on the unique qualifications for each study, paying close attention to quotas, subquotas, nuance between groups, etc. to ensure the participants match the needs of the research“Code” screener surveys with user-friendly software Alchemer (formerly SurveyGizmo)Learn basic CRM functionality and use email/SMS marketing to generate screener survey responsesTrack project progress in Microsoft Excel, using simple data manipulation / formulas to display research participants’ responses in a “grid” formatFully vet recruits via phone and/or video response to ensure all participants meet the qualifications stated in the screener surveyCoordinate with and confirm dates and times of participation with recruits, sending emails and making reminder calls as needed to ensure strong attendanceFor hybrid employees, occasionally travel to do check-ins and light IT work at our Interpret playtesting labs or our clients’ facilitiesSkillsGood phone etiquettePersonal organizationTech savviness, including working knowledge of Microsoft ExcelSelf-motivation to complete tasks on strict deadlinesStrong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlinesStrong phone and customer service skills - engaging with a diverse audience who share a common interest in video gamesTeam player, ready to work with a dedicated and fast-moving remote teamStrong organizational and project management skillsSelf-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision (takes initiative and looks for process efficiencies whenever possible)Strong verbal and written communication skillsFamiliarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, OutlookWillingness to learn new software as part of the jobGeneral knowledge of gaming and the biggest game franchisesIndustry knowledge and gaming passionNone required – we are open to all situations and life stages; however, the ideal candidate may be someone who has recently / will soon graduate from collegeBenefitsTiered performance bonusHealth/dental/vision401(k) with employer matchingGenerous paid time off each calendar yearPhysical & mental wellness programPaid parental/family leaveContinuing education scholarship programCompany OverviewInterpret is a consumer insights firm that works at the intersection of media, entertainment, and technology.
