Ubisoft is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Entry-Level Game Tester / Community Moderator to join our remote team. This is a unique opportunity to turn your love for gaming into a career, contributing directly to the quality and community health of our beloved titles. You will be responsible for meticulously testing games for bugs, providing valuable feedback, and actively engaging with our player base to ensure a welcoming and vibrant online environment. This is a 100% remote position. Key Responsibilities • Execute comprehensive test plans to identify, reproduce, and accurately report software defects and inconsistencies in our games. • Provide detailed and constructive feedback on gameplay, features, and overall user experience. • Actively monitor and moderate online game forums, social media channels, and in-game chat to ensure a positive and respectful community environment. • Enforce community guidelines and policies, addressing inappropriate content or behavior promptly and professionally. • Engage with players, respond to inquiries, and escalate complex issues to appropriate internal teams. • Collaborate closely with development, quality assurance, and community management teams to enhance game quality and player satisfaction. • Stay up-to-date with current gaming trends, community platforms, and industry best practices. Required Skills • Exceptional passion for video games and a broad knowledge of various genres and platforms. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle bugs and inconsistencies. • Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage time effectively. • Basic understanding of online community dynamics and moderation principles. • Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace). Preferred Qualifications • Prior experience in game testing (even as a volunteer or hobbyist) or online community moderation. • Familiarity with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla). • Experience participating in or managing online gaming communities. • Knowledge of additional languages is a plus. • Relevant certifications in quality assurance or community management.
