The project is being developed by an artist and 2D animator who is seeking reliable technical support to bring the vision to life. The role is fully remote and ideal for someone who enjoys collaborating on creative indie projects and can provide both technical guidance and hands-on development within the GDevelop engine. Deliverables β’ Collaborate closely to implement core gameplay mechanics, including player movement, enemy AI, and interactive environments using GDevelop. β’ Assist in optimizing and troubleshooting existing game systems to ensure smooth performance and playability. β’ Provide clear documentation and guidance to help the project owner better understand GDevelop workflows and best practices. β’ Integrate 2D and 3D assets into the engine, ensuring visual consistency and technical compatibility. β’ Offer ongoing support and feedback throughout the development process, adapting to evolving project needs. Requirements β’ Proven experience developing games with GDevelop, particularly with 3D or top-down mechanics. β’ Strong understanding of game logic, event systems, and asset integration within GDevelop. β’ Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-programmers. β’ Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently on a remote basis. β’ Experience collaborating on indie or personal game projects is highly valued. β’ Familiarity with survival horror or shooter genres is a plus. β’ Availability to provide regular updates and respond promptly to project queries.
