Position: Galician Audio Generalist Evaluator Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $50/hour
Commitment: 10ā20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
ā¢ Transcribe and optimize audio and video content in Galician. Ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to guidelines.
ā¢ Produce high-quality written outputs in Galician and support work in English as needed.
ā¢ Define and document evaluation standards for general consumer audio contexts. Develop evaluation rubrics in Galician and English.
ā¢ Conduct model testing and grading. Evaluate outputs for accuracy, completeness, and fluency.
ā¢ Support benchmarking and quality assurance. Participate in QA cycles to ensure consistency and reliability.
Qualifications
Must-Have
ā¢ Strong writing, editing, and critical thinking skills.
ā¢ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
ā¢ Native or near-native fluency in Galician (spoken and written) and professional fluency in English.
ā¢ Ability to transcribe and analyze Galician audio content.
ā¢ Available to commit 10ā20 hours per week.
Preferred
ā¢ College students or recent graduates.
ā¢ Background in linguistics, humanities, social sciences, journalism, or technical disciplines.
ā¢ Experience with transcription, annotation, localization, evaluation, or research workflows in Galician.
ā¢ Familiarity with dialectal variations and contemporary usage.
ā¢ Interest in AI, language models, or applied research environments.
