Role Overview The Fund Accountant is responsible for executing core fund accounting workflows accurately and consistently across a defined set of venture funds. This role is ideal for someone who values precision, structure, and ownership — and wants to build deep expertise in how venture capital funds operate at scale. You’ll work within established processes and under review while gaining hands-on exposure to fund structures, capital activity, and reporting across a broad portfolio of venture funds, contributing to a platform that supports thousands of emerging managers. What You'll Own • Execute day-to-day fund accounting tasks, including transaction booking, allocations, and capital activity • Maintain accurate general ledger records across assigned funds • Prepare periodic financial statements and supporting schedules • Support capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting processes • Assist with audit and tax preparation through clean, well-organized workpapers • Follow documented processes and controls consistently • Surface questions or discrepancies promptly to senior team members What You Bring • Core Requirements • 2–4+ years of experience in fund accounting, accounting, or fund administration • Familiarity with venture capital or private equity fund structures • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to manage recurring deadlines across multiple funds • Clear written communication and reliable follow-through • Interest in how accounting workflows can be improved through better systems, data, or automation • Nice to Have • Prior experience supporting audits or year-end close processes What We Offer • Meaningful impact through building infrastructure that expands access to venture capital globally • Opportunity for career growth and role expansion as the platform scales • Competitive compensation commensurate with experience • Remote-first work environment with thoughtful, high-caliber teammates • A working schedule for adults, including flexible hours and flexible PTO How to Apply: If you don't tick every box above, we'd still encourage you to apply.
