Functional QA : SQL/API
As a Functional QA Tester : SQL/API, you will make an impact by ensuring software quality through comprehensive manual testing, with strong expertise in SQL and API testing using Postman. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering & Assurance team and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. ________________________________________ In this role, you will: • Review and analyze system specifications. • Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans. • Execute manual and automated test cases and analyze results. • Evaluate product code according to specifications. • Create logs to document testing phases and defects. • Report bugs and errors to development teams and help troubleshoot issues. • Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing. • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. ________________________________________ Work model We strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. The annual salary for this position is between [$53,477/- to $92,500/-] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
