VocoVision is looking for a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to work remotely with students across Illinois. This is a chance to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the flexibility of a fully virtual position.
Position Details:
• Job Type: Full-time & Part-time available
• Caseload: K-12
• Location: Fully Virtual
• Contract Type: 1099
• Pay Range: $38-$45/hr
Responsibilities:
• Deliver virtual services to visually impaired students.
• Work with school teams to ensure accessibility in learning materials.
• Adapt curriculum and provide assistive technology support.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and special education teams.
Minimum Requirements:
• Active Illinois TVI certification.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education.
• Two or more years of experience working with visually impaired students.
• Previous virtual experience is a plus.
• Strong technology skills and adaptability to digital platforms.
