We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Remote Special Education Teacher to join our dynamic team in South Carolina. In this role, you will provide individualized support and instruction to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they have the tools and resources to thrive academically and socially. You do not need to live in South Carolina to apply, you need a license in the state you currently live in and the state you work in.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and implement personalized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students individual needs
Administer engaging, differentiated instruction through remote platforms, utilizing various teaching strategies and technologies
Work closely with families, therapists, and support staff to track student progress and adjust instructional methods as necessary
Uphold accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and IEP compliance
Promote a positive and inclusive remote learning environment that encourages student participation and motivation
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field; Masters preferred
Current South Carolina teaching certification in Special Education
Prior experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in a remote environment
Proficient communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and families
Understanding of remote learning platforms and educational technology
