Assurance Manager Position Overview The Assurance Manager is responsible for leading and managing audit engagements, ensuring adherence to regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality assurance services to clients in various sectors including healthcare and government. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of financial regulations and auditing standards. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations. • Review and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP. • Provide guidance and support to audit teams, mentoring junior staff and promoting professional development. • Develop and maintain client relationships, understanding their needs and providing solutions that add value. • Prepare detailed audit reports and presentations for clients, highlighting key findings and recommendations. • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in auditing and assurance services. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; a Master's degree is preferred. • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required. • Proven experience as an Audit Manager or in a similar role within assurance services. • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. • Experience in government and healthcare sectors is a plus. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
