Fully Remote Audit Director (Digital Assets) A leading CPA firm is seeking an Audit Director for their Digital Assets team. This role offers the opportunity to shape how blockchain and digital asset assurance evolve within an increasingly complex and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Lead the technical infrastructure and data strategy supporting blockchain assurance engagements. • Translate complex blockchain data and network mechanics into audit-relevant procedures. • Connect tokenomics with financial reporting. • Manage relationships with blockchain data providers and tooling vendors. • Serve as the technical liaison between engineers, blockchain specialists, and audit professionals. • Support development of custom tools and templates for emerging blockchain protocols. • Guide assurance testing performed directly on-chain using APIs, explorers, and analytics tools. • Contribute to internal training to expand the firm’s digital asset capabilities. • Oversee technical logistics related to engagement scoping, tooling, and procedural documentation. Qualifications: • 10+ years of relevant experience. • Strong understanding of blockchain architecture and data. • Familiarity with audit concepts. • Experience with SQL or similar languages. • CPA preferred but not required.
