Fullstack JavaScript Developer - Latin America - Remote
Azumo is looking for a highly motivated Senior Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in React, Node and GraphQL each. The position is based remotely in Latin America. The developer will work in the EST/ PST timeāzone.
This position will give you the opportunity to collaborate with bright engineering minds in SaaS and big data computing. As a key engineer in the web team, you should excel with minimal technical supervision, embrace time constraints, and work with team members to deliver high quality products and features. You will enjoy the role if you love delivering wellāfactored and tested JavaScript applications.
Responsibilities
Enhance existing Typescript and JavaScript codeābase
Architect app and collaborate with the team to integrate with 3rd party APIs and services
Design the overall application framework, including component hierarchy, authentication, error handling, etc.
Implement the frontāend build, deploy and CI pipeline.
Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
Design clientāside and serverāside architecture
Basic Qualifications
7+ years of experience in the field of software development.
Solid experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
5+ years experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and frontāend coding skills
5+ years experience in React and GraphQL each.
Selfādriven and motivated, with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem solving.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of multiple backāend languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python)
Knowledge of multiple frontāend languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
BS or Master's degree in Computer Science, related degree, or equivalent experience
Some experience with backend development (Java or Node.js)
Prior experience with building RESTful web services
Experience writing SQL and using NoSQL databases
Experience with automated testing (TDD, mocking, unit/functional/integration)
Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
An analytical mind
Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field
