As a Software Developer at Caseware, you’ll design, develop, test and deploy microservice to support the analysis of data in our Cloud. You will collaborate with multiple upstream and downstream squads to design and deliver complex and innovative solutions to support the analysis of large data sets at scale. You will be part of the Data Analytics team that enables data extraction from various sources providing insightful reporting, tailored analytics and risk management. What you will be doing: Leading the design, test and implementation of solutions through all phases of the software development lifecycleStay up to date with the latest technologies and trends, implementing proof of concepts and presenting innovative ideas and architecture to contribute towards the development of our engineering cultureCollaborate in requirement and solution design conversations with other developers, team leads, product and UX designParticipate in the team on-call rotation helping to identify and eliminate persistent root causes for problems that affect your customers and teamCollaborate closely with DevOps/DevSuccess to drive iterative improvements to your team’s build system, test automation and CI/CD pipelines What you will bring: Understanding of Object Oriented (OOP) concepts and SOLID principlesUnderstanding of data structures and algorithmsSolid understanding of some of the following languages/technologies; React, Express, NodeJS, MongoDBStrong English language communication and collaboration skillsPassion for technology and eagerness to learnDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracyUnderstand and contribute to the existing architecture and propose enhancementsImplement proof of conceptsActively participate in code reviewsActively participate in the designing of the planned initiativesEffective written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills Additional Information About CasewareCaseware's cutting-edge software products are meticulously designed for accounting firms, corporations, and governments.Our teams are continually collaborating, innovating, and building upon our existing suite of products.
