Special Education Teacher – Full-Time | Kansas City, MO | 2025–2026 School Year
Blazer Jobs is actively hiring a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students in a school district located in Kansas City, MO.
Position Details:
• Full-time, onsite role
• Classroom-based instruction supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Provide individualized instruction, accommodations, and support as outlined in IEPs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff
• Caseload information will be provided during the district interview
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Missouri teaching certificate in Special Education
• Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and differentiated instruction strategies
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Preferred: prior school-based experience, experience with assistive technology, and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams
