Full-Time School Counselor (Ohio, Fully Remote)

Job Title: Virtual School Counselor in Ohio Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Counselor to join our remote educational team. As a School Counselor, you will provide guidance, counseling, and crisis intervention to students in all grade levels, helping them navigate personal and academic challenges. Key Responsibilities: • Provide Individual and Group Counseling: Offer counseling services to students dealing with personal, emotional, or behavioral issues, and facilitate group sessions to support peer relationships and social-emotional learning. • Crisis Intervention: Respond to students in crisis, providing immediate support, guidance, and intervention, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure the student's well-being. • Academic Support: Assist students with academic planning, goal setting, and overcoming obstacles to academic success. Provide counseling related to academic stress and time management. Qualifications: • Degree in School Counseling or a related field. • Ohio Certification or Licensure as a School Counselor. • Experience in a School Setting is preferred, especially with K-12 students. • Strong Communication Skills with the ability to build trust with students, parents, and school staff.
