Job Title: Seasonal Tax Associate
• Job type: 100% Remote role
• Summary
As a Tax Associate with company, you'll work directly with our customers to answer simple tax questions to help them prepare their returns. You'll have access to our virtual tools and resources, as well as opportunities to collaborate with experts and provide updates on assigned customers. This role includes several administrative tasks to support your work, like data entry and compiling and tagging documents for tax return prep. At the end of the season, we offer opportunities to work with us again for following seasons.
MUST HAVE - Minimum 3 seasons of paid Tax Preparation Experience, with a minimum of 30 returns per season. 90 total Tax Returns.
• MUST HAVE - Active PTIN
• Responsibilities
• Â Prior tax preparation experience in a tax firm or retail setting required.
• Â The ideal candidate will have a background in business, finance, accounting, or tax Knowledge of tax laws, tax concepts and familiarity with form... 1040 and schedules.
• Â Ability to work within a team to assist in preparation of accurate tax returns in a timely manner.
• Â Willingness to utilize audio/visual tools to communicate with customers.
• Â Comfortable interacting with customers through video, in a professional way that represents the Company brand well Ability/motivation to expand expertise and obtain a tax credential or certification.
• Â Company offers a program to obtain your EA license.
