We are hiring a full-time Marketing & PR Assistant to support book marketing and author visibility campaigns. This role focuses on media outreach, influencer partnerships, podcast pitching, and review acquisition. You will help expand reach and secure coverage through organized, high-volume outreach and follow-up.
This is a remote, work-from-home position with steady hours and long-term potential.
Responsibilities
• Research and contact influencers for promotional partnerships
• Identify and pitch journalists and media outlets
• Send press pitches and outreach emails
• Find and contact book reviewers, bloggers, and review platforms
• Research and build targeted media and influencer contact lists
• Identify relevant podcasts and pitch author interviews
• Coordinate and schedule podcast and media appearances
• Track outreach efforts and responses in spreadsheets or CRM tools
• Send structured follow-ups to increase placement success
Qualifications
• Strong written English and professional email communication
• Experience in marketing, PR, outreach, or lead research preferred
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable with online research and list building
• Proficient with spreadsheets and tracking systems
• Able to manage deadlines and work independently
• Reliable internet and remote work setup required
