Full-Time Homeschool Tutor in Grassy Creek, NC
Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person elementary tutor or teacher to provide academic support and structure for all subjects to two homeschool children (ages 9 & 11) using their Liberty University Online Academy curriculum at their home in Grassy Creek, NC 28631. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher or tutor: a full-time homeschool tutoring position Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm that pays $25/hr ($1000/week). A female is preferred since most of the kids are female.
A minimum of one year prior teaching or tutoring experience working with elementary-aged kids is required. Minimum BA with professional classroom teaching experience is preferred. Additional music or sports expertise is a plus.
The family is looking for a tutor who is reliable, consistent, patient and engaging. The right teacher/tutor will be calm and organized, and able to provide positive reinforcement while keeping the students on track and moving forward. The teacher must also have great communication skills, and be a self-starter who can work with the students’ remote school curriculum while reporting regularly to the parent. Time off can be flexible and arranged with the family in advance.
