Full Time Center Associate

Retail Center Associate selling customer's shipping, packaging and printing needs.Responsibilities and Duties including but NOT limited to:The UPS Store Sales Associate position requires excellent customer service skills as well as having a full understanding of our products and services and the ability to sell these products.Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs on a daily basisWe also provide other services that are considered critical, such as print products and private mailbox service and you will be required to listen and read customers and suggest these services as appropriateDelivers outstanding customer service to walk-in Retail customers and telephone inquiriesContinuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadershipTakes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutionsTakes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trendsOperates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach othersMaintains a clean and safe working environmentPerforms all other activities of a Retail Center Associate like operating cash registers, maintaining a clean and pleasant environment, start/end of the day activities.Learning different computer software and programs to operate our systemsQualifications and SkillsHigh school diploma or GED requiredRetail/customer service experienceGood communication and people skillsStrong computer skills, including EmailOutstanding phone skillsMultitasking and to be a critical thinkerStrong verbal and written communication skillsPrompt, reliable, and responsibleAble to lift 50+ poundsAbility to handle either opening or closing the store and work aloneWilling and able to work 26-31 hours per week with a varying schedule, must be available for weekends*Previous applicants need not apply.*Job Type: Part-timePay: From $17.00 per hour (More for UPS Store Experiance)Benefits:Employee discountPaid trainingCompensation package:Monthly bonusSchedule:Monday to FridayRotating weekendsSome Weekends RequiredExperience:Retail sales: 1 year(Preferred)License/Certification:Driver's License (Preferred)Work Location: In person
