Full-Time Audit Manager, CPA - remote
About Us We are a growing national CPA firm specializing in year-end audits, reviews, and compilations for homeowner and condominium associations. We’re seeking an experienced, full-time Audit Manager to join our fully remote team. In this role, you will manage and support audit staff (including CPAs) and perform hands-on audit work. Our audits are generally straightforward, however, there will be complex accounting issues that require high level proficiency and understanding to work through and resolve, particularly with clients who may not have strong in-house accounting teams. Compensation • Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications • Job Type: Full-time • Location: Remote Work Schedule • Busy Season: 45–55 hours per week • Non-Busy Season: 30–35 hours per week on average • While flexible, most work is expected to be completed during standard business hours Responsibilities • Manage and review audit work prepared by CPA staff • Act as in-charge auditor for assigned engagements from planning through completion • Perform audit procedures and prepare financial statements • Supervise, mentor, and train audit team members • Communicate with staff and clients remotely • Report to the Engagement Partner • Assist with other tasks as assigned Qualifications • 5–6 years of public accounting experience in audit • Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word • Experience with fund accounting and/or HOAs is a plus • Experience with Forms 990 and 1120 is a plus • Excellent communication and organizational skills is a must Why Join Us • 100% remote work • Specialized, focused client base • Experienced and supportive team • Balanced hours and flexibility outside of busy season If you're a motivated audit professional looking for a fully remote opportunity with a specialized client focus and work-life balance, we’d love to hear from you.
