Role Type: Full-time Engagement: Independent Contractor About The Company Our client is a D2C eCommerce design agency that helps consumer brands grow through high-converting web experiences. They specialise in crafting visually compelling Shopify storefronts that blend design excellence with performance optimisation. The team values innovation, collaboration, and continuous growth - and they're looking for a skilled Full Stack Shopify Developer who shares their passion for D2C excellence. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain custom Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks. • Optimise storefront performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth UX across all devices. • Collaborate with designers to translate mockups (Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD) into functional websites. • Integrate third-party applications and APIs to extend Shopify functionality. • Maintain and enhance Shopify Plus sites through continuous updates, debugging, and feature improvements. • Build public and private Shopify apps using Node.js and React. • Implement system integrations (payments, CRMs, analytics, etc.) and data synchronization. • Conduct QA testing, troubleshoot bugs, and resolve performance or security issues. • Stay updated on emerging eCommerce technologies and propose innovative solutions. • Work closely with project managers to fulfil client requests and deliver pixel-perfect results Requirements • 3+ years of experience as a Shopify Developer or Full Stack Web Developer. • Strong command of Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, SQL, and Node.js. • Experience with React, jQuery, Backbone.js, or similar frameworks. • Proven experience with Shopify API, custom app development, and third-party integrations. • Solid understanding of web performance optimisation and security best practices. • Experience in Agile development and working in collaborative remote environments. • Excellent communication and documentation skills. • Portfolio showcasing D2C eCommerce projects (please include links or examples) Preferred Skills • Familiarity with GDPR compliance, UX/UI design principles, and SEO optimisation. • Experience with Shopify Plus, Foundation, or Bootstrap frameworks. • Knowledge of data migration, customer/product/order management, and API integrations Benefits Competitive salary: $1050 - $2100 monthly (based on experience) Fully remote work - collaborate with a global, creative team.
