Full Stack Engineer (Fully Remote)
Marketing.Storage is a marketing agency for storage unit operators. We're a team of industry experts on the forefront of storage marketing, renting over 30 million square feet of storage space and managing over 100 million dollars in ad spend.
About the Role
You'll be our first developer hire, working with our CTO to lead engineering efforts on internal tools we will use to improve productivity, generate revenue, and provide value to our customers.
In this role, you will:
Ā Translate product owner's feature pitches into clear technical specifications.
Ā Bring recommendations for tech stack and architecture to each tool
Ā Implement technical specifications through concise, well-tested, and descriptive GitHub pull requests.
Ā Streamline deployment processes, enabling one-click deployment to production environments.
Ā Investigate and resolve customer-reported bugs, following preliminary triage and research by our team.
Ā Diagnose and address application errors using error monitoring... tools.
Ā Optimize application performance using Datadog and AWS Performance Insights to guide enhancements.
You might thrive in this role if you have:
Ā 3 to 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering robust, scalable web applications.
Ā Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with Vue.js or similar frameworks.
Ā Strong backend experience with Node.js and maybe Express.
Ā Experience with Firebase and real-time databases.
Ā Familiarity with RESTful API integration and API-first development approaches.
Ā Knowledge of security practices, with exposure to Blockchain technology a plus.
Ā Experience with performance optimization tools like Datadog and AWS Performance Insights.
Ā Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and modern deployment workflows.
You'll bring extra to the table if you have:
Ā Experience with WebAssembly.
Ā Experience with Express
Ā Previous work with real-time data processing and WebSocket communications.
Ā Knowledge of additional programming languages and frameworks.
