The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality user experiences. You'll work alongside other developers to ensure performance, functionality, and compatibility across devices and browsers, while also contributing to testing, troubleshooting, and occasional client-facing tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesUse scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media.Develop or validate test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types.Back up files from Web sites to local directories for recovery.Identifying problems uncovered by customer feedback, testing and correcting or referring to appropriate personnel for correction.Evaluating code to ensure it meets company standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.Determining user needs by analyzing technical requirements.Establish a detailed program specification through client's requirements.Test sample data-sets to check that output from the program works as intended.Install the program into production, once testing is complete.May be assigned projects that require you to work directly with the client at an offsite location.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Programming, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)At least 2 years of experience as a Full Stack DeveloperProficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQueryStrong experience with object-oriented back-end languages (C#, Java)Skilled in debugging using browser dev tools, logs, and tools like Postman, SOAPUI, or SwaggerExperienced in responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, form/data validationFamiliar with consuming and developing SOAP and RESTful servicesComfortable using SDLC processes, Git, and command-line tools for project setupProficient in front-end build tools like NPM, Yarn, Webpack, Gulp, SASSExperience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap, ReactJS, AngularWorking knowledge of Web Accessibility standards (WCAG)Familiar with analytics tools such as GTM, GA, Adobe Analytics, or FirebaseAble to identify and resolve security vulnerabilitiesUnderstands Agile methodology and team collaboration practicesExcellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skillsCreative, detail-oriented, and takes ownership of workComfortable working independently or with a team, including remote work and video callsMore InformationFully remote setupNight Shift/Graveyard scheduleOriginally posted on Himalayas
