Brown & Brown is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our growing team!

Brown and Brown Insurance is seeking a Software Engineer who can leverage past work experience and/or skills to quickly become a valuable and productive team member. Most work will involve enhancing and extending features and functions of existing Applications that are used internally and by our producers. This position will interface business professionals and act as a liaison between our business units and IT department and must be comfortable with and capable of excellent email, instant messages, phone, and face-to-face communication with non-technical personnel.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ensuring that application business needs and performance requirements are met. The role requires technical skills across a breadth of technologies. Interaction with both user communities and the technical community is required.

Skills & Experience to be Successful:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science and/or equivalent experience.

5+ years of experience in SDLC

Preferred Skills & Experience:
Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.

5+ years of experience of design, code and maintain software applications ASP.NET, .Net Core, C#, MVC, Entity Framework, SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, HTML, JavaScript, ReactJS, Typescript, jQuery, CSS, JSON, XML and XSL.

Strong experience developing REST APIs using .Net Core technologies.

3+ years of frontend development crafting beautiful, responsive interfaces using JavaScript, Typescript, ReactJS, jQuery, and Bootstrap.

Collaborate with business and technical subject matter experts to design robust, scalable, and secure applications.

Perform maintenance of existing software, with bug fixes and enhancements.

Strong understanding of responsive design, web standards, and cross-browser compatibility

Experience with Azure Cloud technologies

Experience with CICD tools, Azure DevOps.

Solid understanding of Database Design and Architecture

Follow security best practices with web development

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and outstanding customer service orientation

Strong team player, must be flexible, innovative, self-motivated and able to work with business users and interface with all levels of the company, translate business and design goals into an outstanding and highly performing user experience for all web-based properties.

Familiarity with Azure Functions and Azure Durable functions.

Strong verbal and written skills for explaining technical concepts.

Travel quarterly for team meetings and business meetings.

Nice to have:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.

Work with ImageRight document management and workflow.

Experience in P&C Insurance industry.

ETL tools Azure Data Factory, SSIS etc.

Reporting development using Qlik, Power BI.

Exposure/experience with AI tools.



Pay Range
$130,000.00 - $140,000.00 Annual
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
