Full Job Description:
The successful candidate will must be extremely comfortable with extensive client interaction.
This position offers a unique opportunity for a 100% remote bookkeeper to manage the financial bookkeeping for a diverse portfolio of clients. This includes a particularly high-touch client that necessitates a dedicated 20 hours per week of focused, interactive work involving frequent phone calls, zoom meetings, and email communications, alongside managing additional smaller clients to complete a full 30-40 hour work week.
Responsibilities:
Client Portfolio Management: Efficiently manage 5-10 clients to ensure a full workload of 30-40 hours per week, adapting to varying demands and projects.
Comprehensive Bookkeeping: Perform initial and ongoing client cleanup, transaction entry, invoice processing, and account reconciliation.
Financial Transactions and Reconciliation: Accurately handle all aspects of financial management, including transaction entries, reconciliations, and client invoice payments.
Payroll and Commission Processing: Manage bi-monthly payroll and commission calculations, with meticulous attention to detail and deadlines.
Payments, Invoicing, and Financial Communications: Oversee payments to vendors, agents, and other stakeholders, prepare invoices, and maintain diligent financial communications.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local legal requirements, filing reports, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge on necessary actions.
Reporting and Communication: Prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring high levels of transparency and compliance. Maintain robust and proactive communication channels with all stakeholders.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field (Preferred)
QB Certifications (Preferred)
