About the position

The Merchandising Specialist for FUGE and CentriKid Camps is responsible for overseeing merchandise operations, including product line development, pricing, inventory management, and sales strategies. This role aims to drive revenue and achieve high profit margins, with a total revenue responsibility of $1,500,000 across both camp brands. The position is hybrid, allowing for both remote and in-office work, and emphasizes a strong commitment to the mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ.

Responsibilities
• Oversee the life cycle of all merchandise for FUGE and CentriKid Camps, including product line development and pricing strategies.

• Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock throughout the camp season, including forecasting and monitoring inventory turnover rates.

• Establish and achieve event goals related to budget and profit margins, planning and executing merchandise logistics.

• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for seasonal staff on merchandise-related responsibilities.
,
• Create and maintain consistent communication and merchandising practices across FUGE and CentriKid camp brands.

• Handle customer service inquiries related to camp merchandise, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Logistics or related field.

• 1-3 years of experience in merchandising, retail management, or a related field.
,
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
,
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.
,
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of logistics to manage inventory and sales processes.

• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently.
,
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external teams.
,
• Experience in communicating and coordinating with vendors.
,
• Skilled in managing on-site operations, including setup and execution.

• Ability to develop creative concepts and innovative solutions.
