Fuel Accounting Clerk

Maverik is a company that offers adventures through its fuel operations, and they are seeking a Fuel Accounting Clerk to ensure accurate documentation and billing of fuel deliveries. This role involves processing supplier invoices, maintaining financial records, and supporting audits to ensure compliance and accuracy in fuel accounting. Responsibilities Enter fuel supplier invoices and verify proper supporting documentation Accurately enter driver fuel delivery orders to prepare for billing Ensure driver paperwork aligns with delivery reports and fuel loads are billed to the correct store location Maintain organized and accurate records of bills of lading, invoices, and delivery tickets Reconcile vendor payments and investigate discrepancies Assist with period-end reconciliations and miscellaneous audit activities Communicate with stores and drivers to ensure documentation accuracy and resolve issues Skills 1+ years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, accounts payable, or a related role Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately process and reconcile high-volume transactions Experience working with invoices, documentation, and financial records Effective communication skills to collaborate with stores, drivers, vendors, and internal teams The Maverik Spirit – you're a clear communicator, team player, and problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Experience with fuel accounting, logistics, or inventory-related billing Familiarity with reconciliations, audits, or period-end close processes Benefits Full Health, Dental, and Vision Package with company contribution to cost In-Store and Fuel Discounts Retirement plan with company match (401K) Eligible for the annual incentive bonus program Profit Sharing: When Maverik succeeds, so do you.
