If this sounds like an environment where you’d thrive, read on.As the Engineering Manager - Frontend, you will lead and mentor a talented team of frontend software engineers, driving the development of beautiful and delightful user experiences for strongDM's products. You will collaborate closely with Product and Design to ensure a cohesive and engaging user journey. You will foster a culture of innovation and excellence within your team, promoting growth and development. What you'll Do: Lead, manage, and mentor a team of front-end software engineers. Own the frontend function at StrongDM, setting the technical direction and ensuring alignment with company objectives.Partner with Product and Design to define and deliver exceptional user experiences.Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages creativity and innovation.Champion frontend development best practices and standards.Drive technical excellence and continuous improvement within the team.Provide regular feedback and guidance to team members, fostering their growth and development.Contribute to the development of StrongDM's engineering culture and best practices. Requirements: 7+ years of experience in frontend development with expertise in modern web technologies (e.g., React, JavaScript, TypeScript).2+ years of experience managing and leading software engineering teams.A passion for building beautiful, user-friendly, and accessible web applications.Strong understanding of design principles and user experience best practices.Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.Experience working with remote teams preferred.
