Job title: Freelance Illustrator Company: FreshCut Paper Job description: Innovators of pop-up greeting cards, FreshCut Paper is seeking a passionate and talented illustrator to help develop a series of new products. We are looking for an outstanding artist to throw love, talent, and focus into their craft and work closely with our creative team to digitally illustrate masterpieces. We provide reference material, mentoring, and a competitive rate to the right candidate. Responsibilities: • Develop high-fidelity digital illustration assets for upcoming products in line with the brands’ aesthetics • Collaborate closely with the art director and lead designers to refine illustrations • Create high quality production-ready files that are organized and consistent with our file formats including dieline, bleed, and any other print production requirements • Actively communicate project statuses and successfully meet project objectives • Research references and inspirations in line with current and future trends and actively bring creative ideas to the forefront You are someone who: • Understands visual elements and have a great eye for design • Is willing to learn and ask questions • Is not afraid to fail or make mistakes • Loves working with a creative team and can work autonomously to get things done Requirements • High proficiency in photoshop, illustrator, and any other digital illustration software (i.e. Procreate) • Ability to communicate remotely with the art director and the design team as needed (if working remotely) • Have an exceptional eye for composition, color, and textures • Have a range of styles and can adapt their talent to fit the look and feel of the brand • Experience with of paper products and freelancing preferred Benefits • Competitive rate based on experience and quality • Flexible work hours • This is a freelance, remote opportunity with the ability to work in-person based on the candidates' preference Expected salary: Location: Concord, MA Apply for the job now!
