Join DHL as a Freight Operations Specialist, where you will be instrumental in the smooth operation of our logistics and warehouse functions. You will ensure the accurate handling and processing of products, maintaining our commitment to high standards of efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Operations Specialist Key Responsibilities:
Ā Operate powered equipment proficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products as required.
Ā Load products onto equipment, pallets, or totes with precision and efficiency.
Ā Organize and retrieve products for shipment or storage, verifying type and quantity according to customer orders.
Ā Scrutinize product quality, labeling, and quantities against customer specifications to ensure precise outgoing shipments.
Ā Monitor and manage equipment batteries or LP tanks, ensuring uninterrupted power supply.
Ā Identify, document, and resolve discrepancies such as unavailable products or damages, managing OS&D (Over, Short, and Damaged) items effectively.
Ā Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility and equipment, conducting daily inspections for safety and operational compliance.
Ā Support physical inventory processes, participating in counts and audits as necessary.

What We Seek in Operations Specialist:
Ā Preferably 6-12 months of previous warehouse experience.
Ā Detail-oriented with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
Ā High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ā Preferably six months of experience operating forklifts.
Ā Certification as a Great Place to Work and recognition as a Top Employer in the US.
