Job Summary 500-700 WEEKLY PAY! We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Freight Dispatcher to coordinate and manage freight transportation operations. The ideal candidate will utilize advanced transportation management systems and analysis skills to ensure efficient dispatching, optimize logistics, and maintain seamless communication with drivers, carriers, and clients. This role requires strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with industry-specific software such as Oracle Transportation Management, SyteLine, and AS400. The Freight Dispatcher plays a vital role in supporting supply chain operations and ensuring timely delivery of freight. Responsibilities • Coordinate and schedule freight shipments using transportation management systems • Utilize GIS and GPS tools for route planning and transportation optimization • Manage dispatching activities for freight carriers, ensuring adherence to schedules and delivery deadlines • Monitor fleet management systems to track vehicle locations and statuses in real-time • Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, vendors, and customers via multi-line phone systems, maintaining professional phone etiquette • Oversee shipping & receiving processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness • Maintain organized records of dispatch activities, freight status updates, and related documentation Requirements • Experience in dispatching within transportation or logistics environments • Strong knowledge of transportation management systems • Understanding of supply chain processes, freight management, shipping & receiving procedures, and fleet management • Analysis skills to interpret transportation data for operational improvements • Exceptional communication skills with professional phone etiquette for multi-line phone systems • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and scheduling tasks This position offers an engaging opportunity for professionals passionate about logistics and transportation management.
