Freelance Web Developer and Designer

Duties
• Develop, customize, and maintain websites using a diverse tech stack including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP, Python, Ruby on Rails, and more.
• Design intuitive user interfaces and engaging web layouts utilizing wireframing, UX principles, and responsive web design techniques.
• Implement front-end features with frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, Bootstrap, and jQuery to enhance user experience across devices.
• Build robust back-end systems using technologies like Django, ASP.NET, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, and integrate with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server, SQLite, and Data visualization tools.
• Manage version control and collaboration through GitHub, Git, SVN, Jenkins, Trello, Jira, and Azure DevOps within Agile development cycles following SDLC best practices.
• Deploy applications in cloud environments including AWS and Azure while ensuring scalability with Docker containers and CI/CD pipelines for seamless updates.
• Optimize websites for SEO performance and implement web services using RESTful APIs, SOAP protocols, GraphQL APIs to ensure smooth data exchange.
• Conduct unit testing and system architecture planning to guarantee high-quality deliverables that adhere to client specifications.
Skills
• Proficiency in front-end development languages: HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS), JavaScript (including TypeScript), jQuery; experience with React Native for mobile app development is a plus.
• Strong back-end development skills using PHP, Python (Django), Ruby on Rails; knowledge of MVC architecture is essential.
• Experience working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server; ability to write complex SQL queries.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools including Docker containers, Ansible automation toolset, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines; experience deploying on AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of system architecture principles for scalable web applications; understanding of RESTful API design and integration with third-party web services.
• Expertise in UI/UX design principles along with wireframing tools to create user-centric interfaces that are visually appealing and easy to navigate.
