Freelance Video Editing Specialist
Job Description:
• Edit long form YouTube videos (primary focus)
• Assist and collaborate with short form video editing for Reels, Shorts, and TikTok as needed
• Collaborate with the creative team including video editors, graphic designers, and content coordinators on content ideas
• Research YouTube trends, competitors, and algorithm changes
• Monitor and analyze YouTube analytics to improve performance
• Organize and maintain content libraries in Google Drive and Google Photos
• Upload and manage long form YouTube content
• Help contribute ideas that improve content quality, engagement, and growth
Requirements:
• Familiarity with YouTube culture and trends
• Passion for content creation and continuous growth
• Proficiency in video editing platforms: Adobe, CapCut
• Basic knowledge of visual storytelling principles, color theory, typography, and composition
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meeting deadlines
• Communication with cross functional teams to take feedback and translate ideas into content
• Adaptability to learn new tools and creative trends
