Freelance - Studio Artist
Rad Wizard Games is seeking a remote contract 2d artist to make the art for our unannounced game. The game is a small-ish 2d incremental action game where you play as a wizard fighting off hordes of monsters.
We are looking for a 2d artist for a remote freelance contract to make all the art for a small incremental game.
You will work together with the lead developer on coming up with a visual style for the game.
This is a remote, freelance, hourly project with most assets requesting delivery before April 30, 2026.
Sample list of assets to make: Wizard (player) sprite, 10-20 interesting monsters + more cool bosses, background/arena art, attack/skill sprites, skill icons, UI assets, short intro sequence, plus more!
Skilled in Photoshop.
The ability to create a cohesive art style that is used throughout the whole game.
English proficiency.
You’ll be using your own tools and software.
Bonus: Unity experience is a bonus, but not needed since you don’t necessarily need to open unity for this contract.
