Freelance Soft Accessories Designer

pThe Freelance Soft Accessories Designer will help refine and develop whimsical handcrafted accessory offerings. This is a part-time opportunity with the possibility of a long term freelance relationship. Remote work is possible for this role, but the ability to visit the office to review samples and meet with the team occasionally is preferred./ppThe ideal candidate will have a strong vision for translating our love of print and travel into high quality and sustainable accessory and travel items. /ppbrstrongJob Responsibilities/strong/pul liDesign from concept to creation a range of pouches, bags, and accessory items/li liCreate technical illustrations and tech packs/li liIdentify raw materials and trims and labeling/li liResolve technical issues with vendor and production team/li /ulpstrongRequirements/strong/pul liStrong understanding of accessory design and sustainability/li liStrong knowledge of trims and materials /li liMust love print and pattern! /li liProficient in entire design process from concept to technical design and product refinement /li liExperienced in overseas manufacturing, especially India/li li7+ years related experience designing accessories for a comparable brand/li /ul
