Freelance Security Specialist / White Hat Hacker (German Speaking)
We are looking for an experienced Security Specialist / White Hat Hacker to secure and harden our infrastructure. Our environment is primarily based on Hetzner, Proxmox, and Plesk, and we require a professional who can thoroughly audit our systems, identify hidden vulnerabilities or backdoors, and remove them completely. Responsibilities: • Conduct a full security audit of our Hetzner-based servers and virtualized environments. • Analyze and secure Proxmox nodes, containers, and VMs. • Review and harden Plesk installations, including services and configurations. • Identify, document, and remove any malware, backdoors, or suspicious access points. • Implement best-practice security hardening measures across the entire infrastructure. • Provide recommendations for ongoing monitoring, intrusion detection, and prevention. • Prepare a final security report summarizing findings and performed actions. Requirements: • Proven experience as a Security Specialist, Ethical Hacker, or Penetration Tester. • Strong hands-on expertise with Hetzner, Proxmox, and Plesk. • Deep understanding of Linux server security, firewalls, intrusion detection, and root-cause analysis. • Ability to identify and eliminate backdoors, malicious scripts, or unauthorized access. • Excellent communication skills. • Fluent German is mandatory • Availability for immediate engagement.
