FREELANCE PROOFREADER
Location: Remote (EST availability preferred) Job Type: 6 Months Contract 10+ hours/week (flexible, may expand to 20) Compensation Range: $30 - 36 per hour We are seeking a highly experienced and meticulous Remote Part-Time Proofreader to join our team. This is an ongoing, part-time position requiring approximately 10+ hours per week, with a flexible schedule during EST business hours. Responsibilities: • Proofread a wide range of content, including: • Digital copy (emails, website content, social media) • Marketing collateral (brochures, presentations, promotional materials) • Technical files (reports, manuals, industry documents) • Correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors. • Ensure accuracy of facts, figures, and terminology across documents. • Apply style guidelines and maintain consistency in brand voice. • Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to resolve discrepancies. • Provide feedback to improve content clarity and effectiveness. Qualifications: • 5+ years of professional proofreading experience (regulated industry experience strongly preferred: pharmaceuticals, biotech, healthcare, legal, or finance). • Exceptional attention to detail with mastery of English grammar and syntax. • Experience proofreading technical, marketing, and digital content. • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines independently. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Must use own equipment and be comfortable working fully remote.
