Job Title: Freelance n8n Automation Specialist (AI and Workflow Setup) Overview I am looking for a reliable n8n automation specialist who can manage and improve an existing workflow that connects OpenAI Assistants, Gmail, and Google Drive. The system is already live and functional. It just needs someone detail-oriented to help document it, fix small issues, and build new automations over time. This is a freelance role, ideal for someone with two to three years of experience in AI tools and automation platforms like n8n, Make, or Zapier. What You Will Do Review and understand the current n8n workflow and document each major section. Fix small automation errors, broken nodes, or data mismatches. Build new sub-workflows for AI-based content scoring, email automation, and reporting. Connect APIs for OpenAI, Gmail, and Google Drive using n8n. Add basic error handling, data logging, and retry logic. Keep workflows organized, labeled, and easy to understand. Requirements Two to three years of experience with n8n, Make, or Zapier. Working knowledge of the OpenAI API or similar AI tools. Ability to connect APIs, handle JSON data, and troubleshoot payloads. Comfortable writing simple expressions and logic in n8n. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Bonus: experience with Google Apps Script or content automation. About the Project You will work on a live n8n workflow that powers AI content generation and email automation for a digital marketing platform. The system runs smoothly but needs better documentation, minor fixes, and small new builds over time. You will work directly with the strategist who designed the system. No layers of management or unnecessary meetings, just clear priorities and quick feedback.
