Are you passionate about video games and fluent in both Japanese and English? We're looking for a skilled Freelance Translator/Interpreter to support a project starting November 2025 through 2026 (3-6 months duration). Responsibilities • Translate written materials (emails, documents, creative content, explanations) between Japanese and English for video game projects • Occasionally provide live interpreting support for meetings or discussions • Maintain full availability during PST business hours (8-hour window) • Workload may vary; must remain on standby and respond promptly when needed • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural nuance in all game-related communications and content Requirements • Japanese/English bilingual • Proven experience in translation or localization, ideally within the gaming or entertainment industry • Excellent writing and communication skills in both languages • Strong cultural awareness and ability to convey nuance naturally • Reliable availability and quick response during Pacific time Apply tot his job
