Freelance Creative Director –Job Description We're seeking a freelance Creative Director to serve as a part of the visual direction team, contributing creative direction for B2B presentations. This role will be responsible for mastering and incorporating our neuroscience-backed memorable design principles into creative direction and managing internal and external communication/relationships. We are a fully remote work environment, and this position can be based anywhere in the United States. This is a contract position that will pay a flat fee per presentation (expecting each presentation to encompass 50 hours spread over 2 months). This role is for you if… • You are gifted in ideation while understanding the steps it will take to execute big ideas. • You are a crystal-clear communicator, able to confidently articulate visual direction and humbly receive feedback. • You are organized and able to maintain multiple brand guidelines and projects simultaneously. • You are a problem solver who understands complex challenges and takes initiative to find solutions and simplify. • You enjoy collaborating with other team members to produce remarkable work. • You are an experienced visual thinker, particularly skilled in animated PPT presentations and page layout design. • You get excited at the prospect of integrating science and design, while working with global clients on projects spanning a myriad of industries. Responsibilities include: • Provide visual direction for client assets and ensure brand compliance. • Absorb and consistently implement our companies methodology; articulate and defend design decisions on internal and external communication. • Translate written copy and stories into visual concepts for clients’ marketing and sales enablement assets. • Work with designers to execute on your visual direction. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously; communicate openly and frequently regarding project status and timelines. • Present and interface with key stakeholders from enterprise-level clients. • Work within our companies project management platform to ensure correct dates, timelines, and expectations on client projects. Our Ideal Candidate: • Minimum 5+ years in a senior designer, art director, or creative director role (or combination), with proven experience producing successful B2B visual content • Bachelor’s degree in digital media design, graphic design, or similar • Current portfolio of relevant work • Excellent collaboration skills with internal and customer project teams • Ability to remain calm under pressure • Clear written and verbal communication on complex topics • Intrinsically motivated, self-managed, and attentive to detail • Skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign • Advanced skill in PowerPoint, particularly animation
